Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made international waves when they decided to step down from royal responsibilities and leave the U.K. altogether. But now that they are settled down in Santa Barbara, Calif., they are doing their best to stay out of the prying eyes of the media.

Harry attacked by bee during speech
Part of being a royal means giving plenty of different speeches. But this speech was more important than usual: this was he and Meghan’s first appearance as newlyweds, and this was at a garden party to honor Prince Charles.
But there were other visitors in the garden. And poor Harry couldn’t make it through his speech without getting interrupted by a buzzing bee!
Harry caught in awkward kiss exchange
Here you can see Harry, Meghan, and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland at the launch of Meghan’s first solo project as a member of the Royal Family. Meghan wrote the foreword to Together, a cookbook by women who began cooking together at the Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre after the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire displaced them.

But Harry seemed completely unaware that some religious Muslim women do not kiss, shake hands or hug non-family members of the opposite sex, creating an awkward moment when he tried to follow suit. Eventually, he settled for giving her some air kisses.

Shortly after the birth of Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie, the New York Yankees played against the Boston Red Sox in London’s very first Major League Baseball game. And when Meghan came to visit, the team offered her a tiny custom jersey for her newborn boy!
