Boy cuts Barack Obama off for talking too long
Barack Obama’s eight years as president were surprisingly light on people giving him sass. But as this video proves, the lack of a conversational filter in children led to some embarrassing moments for President Obama!
In this 2015 clip, he was speaking at a Washington event with a student moderator. After Obama started giving an overly detailed answer, the young moderator cut him off by saying, “Yeah. I think you’ve sort of covered everything about that question.”
Obama put on a game face and laughed about the young man who thought he had been “talking too long.”

Malia and Sasha are bored by Thanksgiving ceremony
Some presidential ceremonies are sillier than others. But perhaps the silliest one is the annual White House ritual where the president pardons a turkey for Thanksgiving.
In 2014, Barack Obama participated in this ceremony and he brought his daughters Malia and Sasha along. This led to his teenage daughters grimacing, rolling their eyes, and generally making it known that they were deathly bored by this whole affair. Unfortunately for them, the whole thing was caught on camera!
Malia lashes out at boomer lady
For better or for worse, Malia Obama isn’t afraid to speak her mind. And when some invasive person with a camera gets involved, you are guaranteed to see some sparks flying!
In this 2017 TMZ video, we can see that an older woman wanted to get a photo with Malia Obama when she was on her way into a restaurant. Malia declined, but the person was still waiting, camera in hand, when the young woman exited the restaurant. This prompted an angry Malia to blurt out, “Are you just going to take it in my face like an animal in a cage?”
Sure, Malia could probably have handled the situation better. But going off on some Boomer with boundary issues is something all of us have wanted to do from time to time.

Michelle brings the snark on Melania controversy
Michelle Obama participated in an interview with Stephen Colbert in 2016. At one point, he asks her about the infamous moment where Melania Trump seemingly copied one of Michelle’s speeches for her own speech at the Republican National Convention that year.
Colbert hedged a bit, saying he felt a bit of sympathy for Melania and the expectations on her to create things like speeches and sympathy for the scandal and fallout from plagiarizing a speech. When Colbert mentioned being sympathetic to Melania, Michelle put on a sarcastic smile and responded, “Yeah, that was tough.”
Not expecting the snark, Colbert moved on to another topic.
Sasha dances to inappropriate music on TikTok
Now 20 years old, Sasha Obama has become an unexpected TikTok star. We say “unexpected” because she doesn’t have a public TikTok account. But this doesn’t stop her from occasionally appearing in her friends’ TikTok videos that go viral.
In this video, you can see a compilation of Sasha’s TikTok dances with her friends. While her dance moves are tight, the fact that she is dancing to such explicit lyrics raised more than a few eyebrows when these videos came to light. It’s nothing any other college student wouldn’t post, but it’s unexpected from the daughter of a former president!

Malia rocks out at Lollapalooza
Sure, Sasha’s TikTok moments may be shocking once you hear the lyrics. But the true queen of shock moments for many years now has been her sister Malia.
Over the years, there have been pictures of Malia allegedly showing her partying. And in this video clip, we see her absolutely going wild and crazy during Lollapalooza back in 2017!
This video led to quite a bit of discourse over how appropriate Malia was acting or whether we should even care. As for us, we’re simply glad that nobody is putting our most awkward party moments onto the internet!
Obama’s milk joke makes us cringe
Barack Obama has many fine qualities, including the fact that he has a good sense of comedic timing. But that doesn’t mean every joke landed like he hoped they would.
Perhaps the best example of this came during President Obama’s 2012 State of the Union Address. Obama was discussing a bizarre old rule about milk being mistakenly classified as oil. At this point, Obama paused to joke about how in this instance “it was worth crying over spilled milk.”
This drew groans from the crowd, and Obama’s painfully unfunny dad joke has not gotten any more amusing over time.

Michelle doesn’t know what to do with Melania’s gift
When the Trumps and Obamas had to meet for Trump’s 2017 inauguration, Melania Trump brought a gift in a Tiffany box and handed it to Michelle when she and Donald arrived at the White House.
But the sweet gesture just created more awkwardness. The group was supposed to take a picture together and Michelle didn’t know where to put the box, creating a most embarrassing moment!
