Being engaged to Bezos meant that Sanchez got an invite to Donald Trump’s inauguration. She dressed up for the event, though many would say she didn’t dress up enough. That’s because she wore a blazer without a shirt, with her lingerie clearly visible. While she is a very attractive woman, many felt this display of her assets was deeply unprofessional for such an event.

And on one occasion, she was invited to Reel Genius founder Veronica Grazer’s home along with several other book lovers to dish about Jonathan Haidt’s best-selling book The Anxious Generation. Unfortunately, when Sánchez showed up, she was a walking fashion disaster.
That’s because she wore a mesh top under a blazer. While it’s debatable if this is worse than her inauguration outfit (hey, at least she’s wearing a shirt this time), the outfit was deeply embarrassing for a gathering that included parents, teachers, and activists. She basically rocked a thirst trap fit to a book club, which is just wildly inappropriate.

Her (very) little black dress
One fashion garment that every woman owns is the little black dress, and Lauren Sánchez is no exception. However, her LBD is a bit more memorable than others because it seemed more like lingerie than a dress! Back in May 2024, she took to Instagram to tell the world that she had found the perfect little black dress from MONSE. The dress ended up making an impression, but not the one she was hoping to make.
That’s because her LBD left almost nothing to the imagination. Skimpy and sheer, it showed off so much skin that it looked more like she was wearing seductive lingerie than wearing a dress. Many thought this outfit was crazy, but considering that her fashion sense helped her catch the attention of none other than Jeff Bezos, maybe she’s just crazy like a fox!
Rocking red for her birthday
In that little black dress, Lauren Sánchez was showing off so much flesh that she might as well have been wearing nothing but her birthday suit. Speaking of which, the author hopped on Instagram in December 2023 to show off what she and her buddies were wearing to celebrate her birthday. She wasn’t fully nude in this particular birthday suit, but once again, her outfit left very little to the imagination!
As you can tell, Sánchez and her squad rocked red dresses for her birthday celebration. Everyone looked great, but Sánchez once again decided to show off quite a bit of flesh. The low-cut bikini top, mesh, and cut-out segments all combined to once again make it look like she was wearing lingerie rather than clothing. Her many fans certainly didn’t mind, but critics couldn’t help but wonder why she was posting birthday outfits to Instagram that looked more like something she would have worn to a boudoir shoot.

Pretty in pleather
The more you follow Lauren Sánchez’s posts online, the more you notice two things: she likes to wear splashy clothing when she parties and she likes to make her friends match her style. For example, she and her buddies wore those hot red outfits to a yacht party, one where they presumably got wild and crazy all night. Looking at the pics, we’re sure everyone on the boat was captivated. However, they might have been even more impressed by what she wore for her 2024 birthday!
This time around, the buddies didn’t wear the exact same outfits as her, but they matched Sánchez’ pretty pleather look. As always, the outfit made an impression…and as always, it wasn’t exactly the one she was trying to make. The whole “black leather” look had some comparing her to a dominatrix, and others just thought she was dressed up like a character from The Matrix. Either way, it seemed a deeply inappropriate outfit for a night out, especially for someone married to one of the world’s wealthiest men.
