It’s a small world after all.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s exes were spotted hanging out together on Saturday, Page Six has confirmed.
Former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez was seen sitting beside Lindsay Shookus, 41, at her birthday party in the Hamptons in a video posted by “Foodie Magician” performer Josh Beckerman on his Instagram Story. “Happy bday @shookushookus!” he captioned the video.
The video was also shared to celebrity news Instagram account @deuxmoi. In the clip, Rodriguez can be seen wearing all-white, while Shookus is wearing a black top and a black-and-white patterned skirt.
Shookus, a producer at Saturday Night Live, dated Affleck on-and-off from 2017–2019.
Rodriguez, 45, and Lopez ended their four-year relationship, calling off their engagement, in April.
Shortly afterward, Lopez rekindled her old romance with Ben Affleck, whom she was engaged to from 2002–2004. The pair has been making headlines as they’ve been spotted together in Los Angeles, Miami, and Montana. Things may be getting serious as Affleck even gave Lopez’s mother a cameo in an unknown project he was directing in Las Vegas.
But now, could their Lopez and Affleck’s respective exes Rodriguez and Shookus be starting a romance of their own?
Not according to Rodriguez’s representative. “There is absolutely zero there,” he told Page Six on Monday, confirming that Rodriguez and Shookus have “been friends for 15 years.”
In fact, Shookus was once seen hanging out with both Rodriguez and Lopez. The three had dinner together with SNL cast members ahead of Lopez’s hosting gig on the show in December 2019.
Earlier this month, Rodriguez was also seen hanging out with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, 48.
