Tiger Woods is famous for two things. First, he is famous for the amazing talent that made him one of the most legendary golfers of all time. And second, he is famous for the serial infidelity that destroyed his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
During their messy divorce, which was finalized in 2010, Nordegren’s name was everywhere. In the last decade, though, she has dropped off of the cultural radar for many people.
So, what is Elin Nordegren doing now, and what does life after marriage to Tiger Woods look like? Here’s what Elin Nordegren has been up to.
Discovering the infidelity
While all divorces are unfortunate, it seemed particularly sad when it came to Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren. After all, they seemed to have a very strong marriage beforehand. And they have two lovely children (daughter Sam Alexis and son Charlie Axel) that they are very devoted to.
But their marriage was rocked in 2009 when Nordegren discovered that Woods had cheated on her. And not just with one woman: according to the New York Daily News, Woods had affairs with at least eight different women.
It seemed bizarre at the time: not only is infidelity always wrong, but Elin Nordegren is an absolutely gorgeous former bikini model from Sweden. Why, the world wondered, would Woods ever cheat on her?
We’ll likely never know the answer to that question. But we do know what she did after discovering the affairs: file for divorce.

Divorce and aftermath
News about Woods’ affairs went public towards the end of December 2009. And a little less than a year later, in August 2010, Woods and Nordegren divorced.
What happened, though, in the aftermath of the messy divorce? First of all, Nordegren walked away with quite a bit of cash. Forbes reports that she got a jaw-dropping $100 million settlement from Tiger Woods. And she put some of that money into one of the safest possible investments: real estate.
In the immediate wake of the divorce, she bought herself a North Palm Beach, Florida mansion for $12.25 million in 2011. And in 2020, the LA Times reports that she sold that home for over $29 million dollars, making for a very profitable and long-term “flip.”
During this time, Nordegren’s love life was a little less successful than her real estate endeavors. In 2011, she reportedly began a relationship with her neighbor, billionaire coal industrialist and philanthropist Chris Cline. The pair were photographed together several times over the years, but preferred to keep their relationship quiet.
“Chris and I, since we’ve been close, have decided not to talk about [it],” she told People in 2014. “I’m happy.”
They ended their relationship in 2017. And tragically, Cline died in a helicopter crash on July 4, 2019.
But while her relationship with Cline declined over the years, her relationship with Woods strangely seemed to grow stronger.
Sharing custody of the children
After a divorce, it can be tempting for the two sides to basically cut all ties with one another. However, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren had two young children to worry about. So, they had to find the time to make things work when it came to things like spending time with the kids.
How well did this work out? Woods gave an interview to Stephen Colbert in 2016 that shed a little light on this subject.
As Us Weekly reports, Woods said, “We love [our children] so much that we are going to do whatever it takes to make that work.” They developed a system that arguably made them stronger partners after the divorce than during the marriage.
As Woods put it, “We communicate so much better now, it’s incredible. I wish we would have done that earlier on, but it’s been incredible to have a best friend like that.”
Going from a messy divorce to being best friends with your ex shows how much Woods and Nordegren care about their children. And motherhood is obviously important to Nordegren as she has given birth again in recent years.

New boyfriend and new baby
For the last couple of years, Nordegren has been involved with Jordan Cameron. He is a former tight end for both the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins.
How serious have things gotten? The couple now share a child together. On October 4, 2019, Elin gave birth to their son. They named him Filip Nordegren Cameron, before changing his first name to Arthur in February 2020.
Nordegren continues to lead a largely private life, which is understandable after being in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons over 10 years ago. But the most important thing is that she, Cameron, and their young child look very happy together.
