Generally speaking, modern parents usually avoid trying to make their children into little clones. Kids have their own personalities and priorities, and pretending otherwise is always a recipe for disaster. But would you believe some of the most famous families on the planet never got the memo?

England’s Royal Family doesn’t just live vicariously through their own children. In many cases, these boys and girls are destined to grow up and keep the family business growing…to become, in essence, just the younger versions of their parents. And maybe this is just destiny because, more often than you might think, the royal children end up looking like spitting images of their famous parents.

Prince George and Prince William

For the most part, royal kids have a pretty easy life. After all, they are wealthy and famous from the day they are born…what could be so hard about that? However, Prince George has some difficulties ahead of him that most royals could never understand. That’s because he’s the son of Prince William and, like his dad before him, destined to eventually become the King of England.

And every now and then, he looks like a chip off the old block. Back in 2024, father and son traveled to Berlin to attend the UEFA European Championship soccer finals. There, each was spotted wearing a dark suit and striped tie. Between this and their eerily similar mannerisms, these two looked more like an old clone and a young clone rather than just father and son.

Mia Tindall and Zara Tindell

In the world of the Royal Family, Zara Tindell is a bit different. For one thing, she married a former rugby player (Mike Tindall) rather than marry someone with a fancy name and title. For another thing, she is not a working royal, which means she gets to spend more time focusing on what she wants to do rather than helping run the family business. And that means more time bonding with her daughter, Mia Tindall.

Now, it seems like their bond has translated to the two looking a lot like each other. During Prince Philip’s 2022 memorial service, Zara and Mia Tindell were doing some terrific twinning. They had similar outfits, of course, but they also seemed to be wearing the same face. Mia is clearly a miniature version of Zara, and judging from these adorable photos, Zara doesn’t mind one bit!

Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton

Relatively speaking, Princess Charlotte is another royal who doesn’t always have it so easy. Sure, she’s the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, so she’s never going to struggle for money. But she still has to deal with being the middle kid whose siblings are all boys. And like Kate before her, Charlotte is going to have to live and thrive in a high-powered world that is still largely dominated by powerful male figures.

Because of this, we assume that Kate and Charlotte are only going to become closer in the coming years. Certainly, they’re already close enough to dress alike, as evidenced by a 2022 video where the two attended a soccer match to wish the Lionesses good luck. They dressed very similarly at this event, and Charlotte’s occasional smiles revealed to everyone just how much the young royal takes after her famous mother.

Prince Archie and Prince Harry

We don’t see quite as much of Prince Harry these days, and that’s for a good reason. After his spouse Meghan Markle faced increasing scrutiny in the British press, the two of them stepped down from most of their royal responsibilities and moved to America. There, they spilled plenty of Royal Family tea, including a bombshell revelation that an unnamed senior royal was concerned about the skin color of Archie, the couples’ then-unborn first child.

Once young Archie was born, though, it was completely clear that his looks took more after his father than his mother. The best example of this is comparing baby pictures of Archie from a few years ago with baby pictures of Harry from decades ago. The two seem to have the same face, and we can only wonder how much Archie will grow up to be like his famous father.

Sienna Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice

Like Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice is not a working royal. This has given her time to focus on her own career and spending time with her family. And she works harder than most royals (working and otherwise) to give her family the privacy they deserve.

Because of this, pictures of Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, are few and far between. But this pic was snapped after the young woman left her parents’ home during the 2024 holiday season. When the photo was released, anglophiles everywhere rushed to point out that Sienna looked like a younger version of Beatrice. Is her personality the same, though? In this case, only time will tell!
