Again, Jill Biden has never worn anything in public quite as scandalous as the outfits that helped make Melania Trump such a successful model. One of the best examples of this occurred in 2021 when she posted a picture of herself on Twitter sporting a scrunchie while picking up some Valentine’s Day sweets for her husband.

Some who saw the photo loved it, saying that Jill was a down-to-earth gal who wasn’t afraid to just pop a scrunchie in her hair and head out the door. Others, however, thought this was a very sloppy look, especially for a wealthy person who just happened to be married to the most powerful man on the planet!

There are a few hard fashion rules that all First Ladies should follow. One of the rules, though, is “never go outside looking like a Disney villain.” Unfortunately, Jill Biden never got that particular memo, and in February 2022, she wore this spotted two-piece outfit to a Black History Month closing ceremony at the White House.

We’ll probably never know exactly what Jill Biden was thinking when she decided to rock this look…if she wanted to stand out from the crowd, this was the perfect way to do it. However, everybody who saw the outfit couldn’t help but think of Dalmations, and this made Jill look like the real-life version of Cruella de Ville. Making matters worse was that she had worn the outfit at least twice before, making it seem like Jill just really loves dressing like a Disney supervillain.

Skintight latex raises eyebrows

Most people will never be in this position, but Jill Biden had to make that decision in September 2022 when the famous singer played an event at the White House. And the FLOTUS made perhaps the craziest possible choice by wearing a skintight, sequined latex dress.

She looks decent enough in this outfit, and Elton John is likely no stranger to seeing fans in skintight outfits. But the fact remains that Jill was dressing like a party girl in her 20s, and it was a bit tacky for the First Lady to wear something tight enough for us to see her belly button.

Like many women, Jill Biden sometimes likes to wear bold, bright clothing. However, it’s important for any woman to know there is a time and place for such outfits. Many of those in attendance dressed like they were attending a funeral, which felt appropriate. Jill Biden, though, wore a $2,700 Dolce & Gabbana dress that looked like she was ready to kick back and enjoy endless mimosas. Needless to say, this casual clothing upset people all around the world who felt like she was effectively mocking the victims of the shooting.

See-through outfit leaves little to the imagination

Remember when we said that Jill Biden never dressed as scandalously as Melania Trump? That’s an easy claim to make because Jill never appeared nude for a magazine or wore the kinds of scanty clothing that helped make models like Melania look so sexy. However, there was one occasion when Jill Biden dressed a bit like a model trying to make a name for herself, and she hasn’t lived it down since.

In April 2024, Jill hosted a dinner for Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio and his wife. This was a fancy occasion, and Jill decided to wear a $15,990 Oscar de la Renta gown embroidered with crystals. There was just one problem: the outfit was partially transparent…in fact, it was so see-through that you could make out her underwear under there.

Just like that, Jill Biden was on camera flashing nearly as much skin as Melania once did!
