Watch the First Clips of ‘Oprah With Meghan and Harry’ Primetime Special

Fans have been looking forward to Oprah’s upcoming interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And now, we’ve got our first sneak peek at this exciting special.

It doesn’t look like Oprah will be holding back with her questions. In the preview, we can see her ask Meghan Markle, “Were you silent, or were you silenced?” This gives Meghan a welcome chance to open up about what might have gone on behind closed doors.

How juicy are things going to get? The legendary Oprah promises viewers “no subject that’s off limits.” But Oprah (who has been a friend of the couple since they came to the United States) is clearly on their side, going so far as to describe what Meghan Markle went through as “almost unsurvivable.”

The interview promises to reveal explosive revelations. “You’ve said some pretty shocking things here,” Oprah says at one point to the royal couple.

And Harry isn’t pulling any punches in this special. When Oprah asks him about his greatest fears regarding the British press, Harry said, “History repeating itself,” which is an ominous reference to the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

“I am just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side,” Harry says. “I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago, because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we have each other.”

However, the interview isn’t simply an excuse for Harry and Meghan to air their grievances. One source told E! that the couple plans to use this interview as an opportunity to discuss mental health and the different ways that their ordeal has affected their mental health.

This isn’t exactly new material. Harry recently told James Corden that the British press “was destroying my mental health.”

But to see what new things Harry and Meghan discuss, you need to tune in. The two-hour primetime special Oprah With Meghan and Harry will be broadcast on CBS Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m.
