Nearly one year after reconciling, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have split again, Us Weekly has confirmed.
“They broke up a few weeks ago,” a source said. “They remain amicable toward each other and will continue to coparent [their three-year-old daughter True].”
What caused the breakup? “Things just didn’t work out,” Us Weekly’s insider said, adding “there was no drama” ahead of the split.
But another source tells E! News a different story, claiming Thompson, 30, cheated on Kardashian at a party hosted by Drake in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air area on Thursday, June 17.
“Tristan was hanging out with Drake, Diddy and Chris Brown the majority of the night. He was seen hanging out with several girls on the upstairs deck and then went into a private room with three girls. He seemed like he was in a great mood and wanted to party. He was drinking and was partying into the early hours of the morning.”
Kardashian, 36, was first linked with Thompson in September 2016. Kardashian gave birth to their daughter True in April 2018. Reports that Thompson had cheated on Kardashian with multiple women surfaced while Kardashian was pregnant, but they tried to work through their issues.
Their first breakup came in February 2019 after Thompson was spotted kissing American model Jordyn Woods at a party. The affair caused a major scandal because Woods, 23, was longtime best friends with Kardashian’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.
“Khloé loved Jordyn before this. This is completely shocking to Khloé’s family,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.
A reconciliation between Kardashian and Thompson was reported in August 2020 and they quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kardashian revealed she had forgiven Thompson and Woods for the affair on part two of E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion special, which aired Sunday, June 20. But she also revealed she was not on speaking terms with Woods.
“I personally don’t talk to her, but I think she’s doing really well in her personal life,” Kardashian said. “I think that’s a huge misconception [that I only forgave Tristan].… I think people make mistakes, people live, and they learn and I forgive both parties. How could I forgive Tristan and not Jordyn?”
At the reunion, Kardashian also discussed working through her issues with Thompson and taking things “day by day.”
“I just have to trust.… I can’t worry too much about everything else,” she said. “I know all the help that he’s got and the constant efforts that he makes every single day and how hard he fought to get back with me currently. I mean you can ask everyone, it really wasn’t an easy thing for him, but I don’t know why someone would go through all of that if they weren’t really serious.”
The reunion special appears to have been filmed on April 23, when host Andy Cohen and Kylie Jenner both posted behind-the-scenes clips of filming to their Instagram channels.
But reportedly, rumors of Thompson cheating yet again caused Kardashian to end things for good.
“They had been working through the cheating rumors for the last couple of weeks, but Khloé told Tristan he lost all of her trust and the relationship could not be repaired,” another source told E! News. “Khloé really tried, but ultimately, felt too betrayed by him. She’s done and says she will not go back.”
