The Most Shocking Details From Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Epstein Deposition

Years after his death, more people are discussing Jeffrey Epstein than ever before. That’s because of the slow release of the so-called “Epstein files,” a government compilation of information about the deceased sex trafficker. Many rich and powerful people appear in the files, and the public is hopeful that a proper investigation will reveal who engaged in sex crimes (especially with underage victims) on Epstein’s infamous island.

Donald Trump appears extensively in the files, but he has not yet been called to testify. However, Bill and Hillary Clinton were recently summoned to a deposition where the House Oversight Committee could ask them questions about the deposition. The deposition itself took place behind closed doors, but don’t worry: we’ve got all the craziest details about what the Clintons said about everything from Epstein to UFOs!

The return of Pizzagate

One of Hillary Clinton’s biggest foes during the deposition was, predictably, Lauren Boebert. This Congresswoman has been a controversy magnet for many years, and she used this deposition to generate even more controversy when she took a picture of Clinton and shared it online. Clinton was angry and nearly stormed out because she had previously requested that the deposition be filmed live and shared with the American people. Her request was denied, which made Boebert sharing images from behind doors that she helped close the very height of hypocrisy.

Once everyone had settled back down, the questions commenced. Several hours into the deposition, Boebert asked Hillary Clinton if she had reviewed any Epstein files referencing Pizzagate, a debunked conspiracy claiming that rich and powerful people were “ordering” child victims for sex using coded references to pizza. Clinton replied, “Pizzagate was totally made up. It was an outrageous allegation that ended up hurting a number of people.” She then added, “I can’t believe you’re even referencing it.”

Boebert asked more questions about Pizzagate, but Clinton’s lawyer objected to all of them. The full video of the Clintons’ deposition was later released online.

Bill Clinton denies major ties to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell

While several members of the House Oversight Committee (especially Lauren Boebert) were happy to grill Hillary Clinton over just about anything, Bill Clinton was arguably their primary target. You see, Bill Clinton previously knew Jeffrey Epstein and had been named in the files. Even more damningly, there was a photo of him in a hot tub with a woman whose face had been blacked out; many thought she might have been a victim of Epstein and, by extension, Clinton.

Unsurprisingly, Clinton ended up denying everything. Regarding the hot tub photo, he repeatedly insisted that he didn’t know who the woman was and that he was only in the hot tub for about five minutes. He claimed to be only a “brief acquaintance” of Epstein’s and that he didn’t witness the man committing any crimes. Later, he was asked about Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s right-hand woman with whom Clinton described having a “friendly” relationship. He said that he “was sad” when the news broke of Maxwell’s own crimes. However, he agreed that “it was terrible what she did and she should be punished.”

Interestingly, there is no evidence of Clinton directly emailing Ghislaine Maxwell. But between 2002 and 2004, there were extensive and somewhat flirtatious emails between Maxwell and Doug Band, Bill Clinton’s top aide.

Bill Clinton clears Donald Trump’s name

When Bill Clinton’s hot tub photo was released, he actually called for full transparency, insisting that the Department of Justice release the entirety of the Epstein files rather than selectively picking and choosing. At the time, many thought that Clinton had knowledge of Donald Trump committing wrongdoing on Epstein’s island. They concluded that Clinton wanted full transparency because he thought it would indict Trump, an assumption further bolstered by Bill and Hillary’s insistence that their deposition be completely public.

However, those who thought that Bill Clinton was going to help take down Donald Trump were ultimately quite disappointed by how the deposition played out. Clinton said that he and Trump briefly discussed Epstein while they were golfing back in 2002 or 2003. Regarding their discussion, though, Clinton insisted that “[Trump] never said anything to me to make me think he was involved in anything improper… He just said: ‘We were friends and then we had a falling out over a land deal.’ That’s all.”

Bill Clinton told the committee that Donald Trump must have known about Clinton flying on Epstein’s private jet, the unfortunately named Lolita Express. This led to a discussion about Epstein, but Clinton said that all Trump told him was, “We’ve had some great times over the years. But we fell out. All because of a real estate deal.'” When asked if Trump said anything else about Epstein, Clinton maintained that Trump never put a “sexual spin on” their conversation. Just like that, the man everyone expected to take Donald Trump down ended up defending him from various accusations!
