Fortunately, Zelenska has supported many humanitarian efforts and generally fought to remove stigmas around mental illness even as she fights for better mental health resources for those who need them.

In this way, she has revealed something President Zelenskyy has always known: deep down, Olena is a fighter. She became First Lady during a time of peace and had to step up during a time of war. Years after that war began, she continues to fight for a better world for her children and everyone in Ukraine. And in our eyes, that’s very much something worth celebrating!
