You might not expect teenagers to approve of their father’s new relationship, but that is not the case with Travis Barker’s children.
On Tuesday, April 27, Barker shared a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram showcasing his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. The post depicts the couple on vacation in Canyon Point, Utah, riding on a boat and walking on a bridge across a ravine. In one photo they are kissing, and in one video, you can hear Barker say, “I love you.”
“Anywhere with you,” Barker, 45, captioned the post.
“True love ❤️❤️,” his son Landon, 17, commented.
And Barker’s son isn’t the only one to approve of his father’s relationship.
On her own Instagram on Tuesday, Kardashian, 42, posted a photo of herself kissing Barker in the desert with the caption “Just Like Heaven.”
Barker’s daughter Alabama, 15, commented on that post with a series of heart emojis.
Barker shares his children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, whom he was married to from 2004–2008.
Moakler caused controversy earlier this month when she seemed to shade the Kardashians. In a since-deleted post on Moakler’s Instagram on April 7, a fan commented, “My mama likes everyone besides the Kardashians.” Moakler responded, “mine too lol.”
However, Moakler has been making comments recently to clarify that she is happy for Barker and Kardashian. “Travis and I haven’t been together for almost a decade. We co-parent, we’re friends,” she told ET. “Do I want him to be happy? Absolutely. I want him to be happy and if she makes him happy, I think that’s awesome.”
Meanwhile, on the currently airing final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney’s ex-partner Scott Disick has been trying to rekindle their romance, declaring, “Kourtney knows that eventually we’ll get married and live a good life.”
Kardashian and Barker reportedly began dating in December after years of friendship. They made their relationship Instagram-official in February.
