Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have previously been very public about their relationship together. Now, as that relationship is about to end in divorce, Kim Kardashian is reportedly stressed over trying to keep their marital issues private while raising their children.
“Kim and Kanye are trying their best to keep their relationship issues a private matter, especially for the sake of the kids,” a source revealed to ET. “Kim is extremely stressed out right now between taking care of their children, studying to become a lawyer and figuring out her situation with Kanye in the best way possible for both their kids and for him and his mental state.”
As the source puts it, “She is doing her best to hold it together but it has been overwhelming.”
A different source told ET earlier this month that while Kim definitely wants a divorce, she is taking the time to make sure that she and Kanye do what is best for their family.
“Kim definitely has all of her ducks in a row with regards to the kids and financials in case she decides to officially file [for divorce],” the source said. “Kim still loves and supports Kanye and wants the best for him and their entire family. They are obviously still evaluating what that looks like exactly, but Kim is prepared across the board for anything that might come her way.”
Kim is ready to take whatever actions are necessary to protect her and Kanye’s children: North (7), Saint (5), Chicago (3), and Psalm (1).
According to the second source, “Kim is worried and concerned that Kanye is not mentally stable enough to be the dad that their family needs.”
While Kim obviously wants to keep these matters as private as possible, Kanye has a history of telling the world how he feels about things. A public battle in the media has the potential to get ugly as the divorce gets underway.
A source told People earlier this month that Kim will likely file for divorce once the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians has aired, as “her issues with Kanye are a big part of the final season.”
The season premieres on E! on March 18.
