The trailer shows the cast returning to the original soundstage where they filmed the series, Stage 24 at Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California. There, the sets of iconic locations Central Perk, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, and Monica and Rachel’s apartment have been recreated.

“Does Courteney still have her lines written on the table?” LeBlanc jokes as he inspects the set.

The reunion will be hosted by James Corden and feature a bevy of celebrity appearances, including former guest stars Reese Witherspoon, Tom Selleck, Maggie Wheeler and Elliott Gould. Also making appearances will be Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, Justin Bieber, David Beckham, BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Kit Harington and Malala Yousafzai.

In an interview this week with People, the cast revealed what their characters would be up to today.

Rachel would have started her own clothing line, Aniston, 52, says. “It’s sort of a small franchise. Like a Nili Lotan. And I live in New York City on the Upper East Side.”

Monica “would be doing something competitively with other mothers and trying to outdo them,” Cox, 56, thinks. “Whether it’s the bake sale at school or something. I mean, she’d be so annoying. She’d be at the head of the PTA or something.”

Phoebe “is living in Connecticut with Mike and their kids,” Kudrow, 57, reveals. “And she’s in charge of the arts program for the school. And just… the advocate for her kids because they’re different like she was.”

Joey “would have opened a chain of sandwich shops,” says LeBlanc, 53.

“And eaten all the sandwiches,” Perry, 51, quips. His own character, Chandler, “would be a wonderful father. And a wonderful comedy writer.”

Meanwhile, Ross “would’ve invested in Joey’s sandwich shop and lost a lot of his savings for his kids,” Schwimmer, 54, jokes.

Friends: The Reunion premieres Thursday, May 27 on HBO Max.
