Don’t seek approval or praise
You may know someone who constantly seeks validation for their work – and they aren’t much of a team player. They would rather take all of the attention or praise for a project, instead of sharing it with others who may have been involved in the project. Those types of people in the work place probably turn you off, right? People who are confident at work don’t need to seek validation and they always have the right attitude. More than likely, a confident person who receives attention for getting the job done will shift the focus to all the people who helped get a project to the finish line.
Small victories matter
It doesn’t matter how big or small a victory is to a confident person in the workplace. They like challenges, even if it yields small victories. Any victory helps because it helps motivate them and it builds confidence.
